BHSc (Nutritional Medicine)
Nutritionist for Australia’s Next Top Model and creator of the Beauty Fuel Diet, Sita’s philosophy is simple; nourishment not punishment.
Sita encourages an intuitive relationship with food, and reminds us to work with our bodies, not against them. In today’s modern world most of us have lost touch with our feminine power and are forgetting to tune in and listen. By understanding the importance of food, and its central role in self-care, we can heal our hormones, metabolism and more.
Sita founded Mind Body IQ as a platform for sharing cutting edge health information and is available for one on one consultation, workshops and speaking.
What does being fit and healthy mean for me?
Being fit and healthy is as much about the mental and emotional aspects as it is the physical. When we harmonise within ourselves, and bring love to all parts of ourselves, we create healing and health. It’s not just about exercising and eating well, it’s also about embracing who we are, imperfections and all.
What inspires me?
I am inspired by anyone who overcomes the odds, achieves something extraordinary, or pushes past boundaries. The amazing Turia Pitt, the performers of Cirque du Soleil and Margaret Deas, who after falling and breaking her pelvis, trained to complete 102 squats on her 102nd birthday, for charity.
What are my passions?
My passions are food and love, and everything in between. Learning and self -development are very important to me and I get these in my life in so many ways. Reading, yoga, time on my own, rich conversation, nature, any chance to cook up something delicious, and I’m pretty much giddy with delight!
