Sabrina Rogers-Anderson has been writing about fitness, nutrition and health for nearly two decades. Her work has been published in a wide range of international magazines and websites, including Runner’s World and Women’s Fitness. She’s been an avid runner for as long as she can remember with numerous half-marathons and a full marathon under her belt. These days, you’re more likely to find her pushing her twin babies and three-year-old in a double pram with a scooter attachment as she fits in her runs whenever she can. Born in Montreal, Canada, Sabrina called Sydney home for eight years before making a sea change to the beautiful Sunshine Coast in 2015.
What does being fit and healthy mean for me?
I need to be active in order to feel good physically and mentally – I’m a much happier person when I exercise! Since becoming a mum, I’ve had to fit my workouts in whenever I can. Thankfully, my three-year-old loves doing squats with me in the backyard!
What inspires me?
People who overcome difficult life circumstances such as illness or addiction through running or other sports motivate me immensely. I’ve been lucky enough to meet and interview so many incredibly inspiring people through my work over the years.
What are my passions?
Running was my number-one passion for many years – I was in my happy place when I was pounding the pavement. These days, my family is my top priority. I hope I can inspire my three girls to lead healthy lifestyles and love fitness as much as I do.
